General / reception desk?

hey everybody,
I am currently in the process of relocating my beauty salon but need a reception desk, everywhere i have looked so far is very expensive, does anybody have any suggestions? it doesnt have to be big but want it to be stylish as its what clients will see first as they walk.

Hi Tracy,
I think the first thing you have to consider is the design of your salon, is it modern chic? vintage? eclectic? Obviously budget is a priority and you want something that will also last. Personally I would not have a problem heading out to Ikea and seeing if they have something in stock, they have a very good website here, I am sure they have lots of desks which might be suitable but the style would of course lean on the more modern, functional.
If you want to push the boat out this shop has great selection of furniture, Roche Bobois. For a once off piece try some of the smaller furniture shops, you can do a lot of online searching and you will find little gems like Wild Child Originals.
